Are you an accounting major in your Freshman or Sophomore year?
Desire to see a glimpse of different aspects of careers in accounting?
Want to experience a consultative culture and approach at a local firm?
Then consider applying for Kickstart- Acuity’s Summer Externship!
This 1-day interactive experience will highlight life as a public accountant and provide valuable insights as you prepare for your future.
As an Acuity Extern you will:
- Learn about what we do as public accountants
- Find tips and tricks to kickstart your career in accounting and how to best prepare for the CPA exam
- Get to know staff throughout the day through fun and educational activities
- Learn more about Acuity and tour the office
- And, of course, lunch is on us!

What makes you an attractive candidate?
- You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
- You are either a Freshman or Sophomore
- You are enthusiastic and energetic with a desire to learn
- You are available and can commit to attending our event on August 13, 2026 from 9:00am to 3:00pm
